Michael, the irony here is that, should you become the subject of an "intervention," it sounds like the last thing you should do is mention your 107 Certification! Just keep repeating I am a hobbyist. No, never heard of FAA 107. I am a hobbyist.

Daylight-only operations, or civil twilight (30 minutes before official sunrise to 30 minutes after official sunset, local time) with appropriate anti-collision lighting.

I think the regulations pertain to the drone. If it is registered as commercial, then no night flying, if it is registered as recreational then have at!
