I got a brand new Playstation VR and connected the HDMI Cable with an adaptor to the HDMI connector of the Solo Controller - guess what ? IT WORKS !!!:cool:

Did not fly with it, coz i have to build an adaptor to power the VR from my car battery as it needs 12V - 3A

ok, small update: seems that the VR needs the additional USB connection to the PS4, tried to plug it into a 5V AC Adaptor, but didn´t work....
i think i have to investigate it a little bit deeper....

edit: found an old OTG Data+Charge Cable for a tablet which worked when powered by an AC Adapter, i think it is the old 200 Ohms resistor between the USB Data lines that makes things to work.
Will now make another Adapter for the Power Supply from my Car and then i´m ready to:

Solo VR :cool::cool::cool:

Ok, first fly with Solo VR Rig:

PSVR Solo

had to use an HDMI MHL Adaptor for my mobile, output is better as you can see the altitude and battery state on the VR screen
next step is to make the whole Rig portable with a LiPo Battery and placing it in a belt-bag
