Solo loss of connection when facing me

anybody else notice how much of a connection drop when turning solo around facing you? example, today out 3,000 ft with a cool 4 bars then turn solo towards me and drop to about 1 bar or RTH. Do i just need to fly backwards? note i have FPVLR with WI-FI card upgrade

Are you sure your directional antenna is pointed at your Solo? Have you tried adjusting your stance to point your antenna to the quad to gain a better signal?
