Solex long button press functions

I am running the latest version of Solex at the time of this post and OpenSolo 4.0
I'd like to be able to configure the long press functions for A and B.

Configure Buttons & Wheel

Herelink's button's and gimbal control now controls functions within the supported application such as Solex via the telemetry connection via Mavlink.

Instructs say"


To Configure in Solex TX

• Open Solex TX App
• Click 3 line in top left corner

Select 'Button Mapping' "


I do not have Button Mapping *here*

It's under Vehicle settings
And I only see BUTTON A MAPPING
and
BUTTON B MAPPING.
No short press/long press options.

Am I missing something obvious?

I was under the impression you still had to edit a text file to change Solo's long-press functions.

The HereLink is another story.

Sorry I didn't realize I was on herelink..
In fact I don't even know what that is.
O *thought* I was on an opensolo info link.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Editing the config files is just fine.
I'll just need to find that information.

Ya that's for the HereLink controller, not for any Solo equipment. To edit those short and long hold button functions, you still need to edit the text file.

I must have read that entire page 5 or 6 times !
However at the time I was not looking for it!

I've been playing around with the LED controls quite a bit.
Noticed that you can only turn them down in brightness to a certain point "6" and then they just cut off.
Not the end of the world but Heather (my wife) wants "pink" and this limits exactly how "pink" I am able to make it.
It's Pink enough for me.
