I did get my rotor replaced and everything went as expected. Some minor soldering and other stuff and then I got my Iris put back together and then this happened. . . .
Fired it up, no problems, got the green light, all systems go.
I didn't put any props on the rotors, just wanted to test and make sure they were working properly. First two minutes are fine, then the new one starts smoking and freezes. NOW, I had an arm replaced by a local drone repair shop, got it back and the same thing happened.
This is what I'm thinking, and maybe someone can confirm for me either way. . . .
The Iris was not calibrated after each repair, which I think is the problem. Can anybody confirm this would cause the above symptoms with new rotors? I'm back to the drawing board. I have to replace this rotor now and then I will re-calibrate when I get that done, but was interested if anybody knew either way.
