Resetting firmware to fix camera

After hooking up to Mission planner my solo would not take off. the fly button was inop.
My camera never worked other than FPV and having to press record and film the entire flight.
After reading a thread for the same problem with mission planner I did the reset on the controller and bird.
Now everything works great.

That's not a mission planner problem... Mission Planner does not corrupt or alter firmware and functions. Unless the user happened to be pushing buttons they shouldn't be pushing....

Your correct. I did an update they posted.
