Register Solo in 2017?

Any insight to registering SOLO in 2017
My app asked to register but then fails ---The link from this forum (originated in 2015) ask me to sign in but I don't have account to do so? Do not see where to sign up or register.
WHAT AM I MISSING?

you can register your drone through the app if you are talking about warranty
if you are talking FAA then use the government website. Don't fall for the sites that will register for you. If its not a .gov site then don't use it

YEP ---tried that a few times with no success. Just need for warranty purposes.

Last I 'heard', they were accepting your sales receipt for warranty claims - though I have no personal experience with a claim... yet.

No need to register for warranty work- you will need to email a copy of your receipt if you need to make a claim.
