I downloaded the .log files that I found on the solo to my computer, and am trying to view them in APM Planner2.0. It displays a "Log parsing ended with errors" message, and is unable to display any graphs. The Tlog files worked ok, but it won't read the .log files. I also noticed that the .log files seem very small in size(10-20KB), but I'm not too sure how large they are supposed to be. Any sort of help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You need to use the larger log files

Not exactly sure what these small files are.
But the larger log files do work.

Are the bigger log files usually .log or .bin files? I can't seem to find any .bin files when I look, and all of the .log files are very small. I am using AndFTP to view the files if that helps give any helpful information. Is there a better way to retrieve the files or should that work?

They're bin files; log files I believe on the vehicle are text files that log specific processes running on the companion board. They're numbered in the dataflash directory.

And keep in mind the Tlog files are stored on the controller typically. Dataflash logs are stored on the vehicle.

Ok so when I go into the dataflash directory the folder is empty. Are they only kept for a certain amount of time?

That's the controller. You need to turn the Solo on and connect to 10.1.1.10 username and password are the same as the controller.

The controller IP is correct to get the tlogs from. You can replay those on Mission Planner to see the HUD in realtime as you were flying it.
