Ever since I received my Solo a year ago I've been using my neck strap from my Spectrum DX7s transmitter I have. I love it and it's adjustable. The Solo neck strap is useless for the controller but maybe could hold a key ring. It's just too short and I'm not comfortable the metal components could hold up. Below is a picture of what I use.
