Nokia 808 41mp camera works

I should let you know what to expect. The Solo Gimbal's firmware support is optimized for the GoPro 4 Black. So... The way to get the Nokia to work without changing the firmware is to weigh the Nokia 808, compare the weight to the GoPro 4 Black. Hopefully it's the same or less.
Next find the Camera's center of gravity. If it's the same location then adaption is easy.

Do you have a 3D Printer ? You will need to print an adapter that will cradle the Nokia 808 in the gimble and not block the cradle movement.
Weigh the Nokia 808 attached to the gamble. Make a weight out of some malleable lead and fasten/epoxy it to the Nokia/Gimble center of gravity location. Boot up the Solo with your attached gamble and camera. If the camera is facing straight forward, great! if not .. add/subtract some of the weight until it's perfect. You may need some leg extenders for the Solo as well. You can easily find them on the net.

Good Luck! Let me know how this proceeds, this is interesting. Many of us would like to try other cameras out.

A Universal Gimbal isn't going to be passive until OpenSolo is ready.
