No red light on phone

I can view what my go Pro is seeing as I fly the drone, but the record Light stays white and never turns red. This worked properly the first couple times.

Mine has been a little wacko lately.
Turn everything off and restart your phone/tablet too.
Start the Solo and wait for the Gimbal to respond
Start the GoPro (make sure wireless is OFF)
Start the Solo Controller
Start the App.
This worked for me?

Sometimes on phones as well as tablets, you have to uninstall the app, and then reinstall it.
