...At one point I felt like double sided taping a tiny camera/vtx from one of my micros onto the Solo but that sort of defeats the point but I suppose could be fun in the right scenario.

I have heard that the time lag between Solo and the controller causes problems for some people flying FPV.
Do you find that to be an issue?

Good question.
One plus for the Solo is longer flight time. Apparently drone races are short. One FPV activity is "freestyle" which appears to border on simple flight simulation.
