From Kelly Schrock
Hey Solex users,
Another update is on its way, 1.1.2. A few fixes for bugs I (and others) found, plus a few additions:
* Full-screen mode
On smaller screens, it's handy at times to move all the menus and stuff out of the way. So there's a button for that. Of course this means you can't see any of the telemetry from your Solo, so...
* Basic on-screen HUD
That's what's in the picture.
* Tlog save and share
Solo app does it, Tower does it, now Solex does it. You can share tlogs from Solex though, so that's cool.
* Spot Mode for GPS overlay
Someone suggested the idea of being to point at an object and know its location, rather than flying directly to it. So there's a button on the Controls palette for Spot mode. When this is turned on, there's a little target on the screen. Point it at something (using the pitch paddle, yaw, etc) and the location you see is the location of whatever's in the target.
* Fix crash in app settings
Found a crash, fixed it.
* Fix error with Solo app trying to load Solex library
This one was weird. Last update, I fixed Solex so that it would never try to load the DroneKit library used by Solo or Tower (which, surprisingly, is actually possible on Android). Having done that, one user reported that Solo would crash on startup whenever Solex is installed. I saw a crash log from that, and it was because the Solo app was trying to load Solex's library. But since I had marked it as "not for use by others", Solo was crashing. So after another change, there's no chance that Solo will stumble across Solex's version of the library.
So, there you are. Have fun!
