New Solo owner from Oz

G'day everyone,

I decided to grab a Solo today before the stocks dry up.
About 18 months ago, wanting a drone to run my GP4 Silver, I purchased a Yuneec Q500G. Unfortunately it proved to be quite a disappointment. Slow, ungainly and with very limited camera control (read none), it fell well short of expectations. Added to this it's a complete pain in the proverbial to fit the camera to the gimbal. I spent this much time wishing I'd followed the advice of a couple of friends who bought Solos early. Better late than never I guess....
I'm looking forward to the direction the Solo is heading and have gathered some good information from this forum.

Thanks for the kind words Chaps. I set it up and took it for a fly. Very impressive piece of gear. Light years ahead of what it's replaced.
I now need to buy a bunch of batteries for it.
