Need help either recovering the wifi password or a reset controller to default

Hello,

I'm new here. My neighbor gave me what appears to be a brand new never used Solo, However, the wifi network is named "Sololink_Shit" and the defaut password "sololink" does not work. Can I just factory reset the controller to defaut to fix this?

Yes but you may need to update the firmware afterwards. If so, follow these instructions.

Thank you. I ended up doing a factory reset and installed open solo 4. Everything is working now.
