Hey guys,

I have purchased this gimbal to attach a FLIR Vue Pro thermal camera to a solo:
Sky Eye-II Vue Pro Gimbal For FLIR Vue Series Camera

After installation I am having a lot of issues with the magnetic interference. When the gimbal is not attached there is no major issues with interference so it seems like the compass is okay. These guys look like they sell the same gimbal but with a plug and play design so it seems like it is possible to use.

I have scrolled through the posts to find a solution and I have tried the following:

Calibrating the compass through the app. It will calibrate without the gimbal and not with the gimbal
Factory reset
Change the direction of the compass on the leg
Used tower to set SYSID_SW_MREV to 0

Do you have any other suggestions to try?

Faulty gimbal emf coming from it, could send it back for them to test

Make sure the compass is plugged in and no pins bent in socket

Then do a recalibration of compass, haven't got anyone else you know with a solo to test gimbal?

Okay, so now even with nothing attached I am receiving magnetic interference. Is there a way to troubleshoot which compass is causing the issue?
