"Looking for Vehicle" Warning

I'm running iOS 11.1 on my iPhone and today when trying to fly my drone I kept getting the "Looking for Vehicle" notation in the app. I connected to my Solo Link and it worked very briefly for a moment but otherwise I could not get it to connect. My App software is up to date but I couldn't confirm the vehicle's firmware as it wasn't being seen by the app. Any ideas???

I don't have 11.1 on my iPad. Did it work on 11.1 after you upgraded? Do you have another phone or tablet you can try?
This happens to me occasionally but I found booting in sequence works most of the time. Controller, then Solo, let them connect, then open the app and connect. I did have an issue where the solo was connecting to my iPhone which i had in my pocket instead of the tablet I was using. I had used both for my solos at one time or another and it connected to my iPhone before I was able to connect with tablet. (took me a bit to figure that one out).
When it doesn't connect I reboot everything.
