Help!! Broke antenna chip in one of legs & gimbals never worked!!

Who has experience using compass included with some iterations of u-Blox M8N GPS such as from E-bay or AliExpress instead of original SOLO leg compass? I ask because I am thinking of switching from leg compass to other type. Any observations,suggestions, or insults?

I have installed a Here Gps with internal compass that replaces the leg compass, it works astoundingly locks in within seconds and acquires plenty of satellites with a very low Hdop....

Did you wire the compass into the same coupling the leg compass used on the board or directly into controller?
