I wanted to make an account here to share and learn since I just picked up a Solo last week during the Bestbuy sale. Really couldn't pass it up. Only disappointment I had was before flying when I realized while watching the Flight School that my Hero 3 wouldn't be operationally responsive with the gimbal. However, it seems to balance fine for now and I don't mind editing the entire flight afterward.
This thing is a joy to fly and I've had a lot of fun with it so far. I have kept the flights short too just because I'm still nervous. Highest altitude was 235 and I was just amazed.
This is a video compilation of the first three flights I've taken if anyone likes watching these. I know a few YouTube videos helped sell me on this incredible machine.
