AFAIK that's only HDMI out from the ipad, not input.

Couldn't you boot up and connect you iPad second and connect to Solo's wifi? My understanding is the first to connect is the controller. Second connection could be used to view. AmIRight?

Only the first device to connect will get the video feed. You can control with any connected device.

This is correct. Adapter is HDMI out. Can't be used as an input device.
