GoPro getting hot and lags, tips?

Hi guys

Been using my gopro since I bought the solo and I've noticed it begins to get really hot.
I know there's been reports of it overheating but was wondering what some of your guys/gals experience with it
and what advice/tips there are to get this it to run smooth.

Also when you guys fly what settings do you use?

If I'm just flying around for fun I use 1080p 60 PT off. If it's something I need to keep then I will use 2.7k 60 with PT on for post editing. I have the 4 black and it runs warm as well....http://gopro.com/support/articles/h...ure-and-performance-in-high-performance-modes

Sorry, that is the ProTune option in GoPro settings. It allows for more control in post editing.
