Drone registration

I just registered for recreational drone flying but suspect it was not a legitimate site, it has reference to FAA and UAS and charged my credit card $18.69 and then sent a strange list of things I need to do and send more money. My HAS registration expires today, is registration still required for recreational?

The ONLY legitimate FAA registration website is Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). All the others are predatory private companies offering to do it for you at an additional cost making it look like they are the FAA.
