What is the absolute best choice for a tablet for the solo?

Haven't seen the Nexus but the Tab S 8.4 feels and looks excellent, the screen is gorgeous and the tablet is very thin and slick, runs very good.

I'm torn between the tab and the nexus 9.

I just bought an Asus today as the Samsung tab s does not play well with phantom or inspire with Play services enabled. Best buy had them for 239 bucks but dropped to $199 when I showed them b&h advertisement.

The Tab S worked great with solo but the Asus is all around quicker.
