Correct Antennae Position

Can anyone point me to a resource that effectively illustrates the proper positioning of the two antennae on our Solo controllers?

• Best position for take of when parked in front of pilot?
• Best position for piloting high above the controller?
• Best position for a diverse coverage area such as high and away from pilot (selfie mode)?

As a general rule, is it correct to assume that where ever you fly the solo, the pilot should try to always be facing in the direction of the solo?
As I'm hoping to find the performance boundaries of the stock Solo, please make suggestions for a stock solo unit and controller.

Check the manual. I always face the direction of my Solo, no matter which antennas I am using. If you haven't found it, the manual can be downloaded and printed from 3DR's website.

Yes, always face Solo when flying. It's the only way to maintain visual Line Of Site as required.
It's also the only way to aim your antenna' at Solo.
