Does a Surface Pro 3 with 8gb ram and i7 processor have the horsepower to run the more popular video editing programs? Still waiting for my gimbal, and my computer is on its last legs. I would prefer to stay with Windows.

Not exactly Solo related so moderator can move if necessary................thanks

It should, It won't be screaming fast when it comes to rendering the final output since it's a ultra low power mobile CPU as opposed to a desktop one, but it should work. I have the 8 gig/i5 Surface Pro 2, and I've run After Effects, Premiere and done some light 3D rendering on it in a pinch. One of those situations where I'd get it going and let it run overnight as opposed to waiting around for it.

You can always save out low-res versions of your clips to use for previews and then replace them with the originals when you're ready to render the final composition.
