Capturing video on laptop.

Anyone have experience with the Elgato Cam Link found on Amazon for $112? This is a video capture dongle with a mini HDMI input and USB output. Says, with Windows 10 no software is needed. Looks like its made for capturing camera streaming but should work for streaming from Solo controller. Many YouTube videos of its use.
