I flew my first Solo with no camera in the hard mount it came with until I got used to Solo. SARDG is right about not flying with the gimbal on and no camera installed. The gimbal is designed to self balance when Solo is powered up, and that includes the weight of the camera. Without the camera installed, you may cause irreparable damage.
