Calibrating Solo Transmitter

My new Solo is giving me a radio calibration error if I land it myself in both Fly and Manual Fly. I've been using Mission Planner for over 3 years and I am very familiar with it. I assume I can use it to calibrate my Transmitter with the solo just like on all my other Pixhawk aircraft. Correct? Any comments!

Not saying it's not doable, But never heard of anyone talking about such a procedure before or a error on controller "saying radio calibration error"
I searched this DB, & nothing popped up?

I know MP, can work with several type of transceivers, transmitters $ Flight controllers, but doesn't mean that all TX, Recv. Controllers have all the same accessible features .

Thanks. I can access all Solo's flight parameters with MP so it may be possible. there is a YouTube video on how to calibrate the transmitter with an Android app. Solo fly's fine. Its just when I put the left stick all the way down after landing I get the error.

Perhaps you need a simple stick cal. Search this forum for procedure.

Thanks. I'll link up to Mission Planner later and see what kind of numbers are showing up on the radio calibration screen and compare them to a print out of the current Solo parameters.

Thanks. My understanding is that is for Android. Maybe I'm wrong. If I put my left stick all the way down the PWM is 898. FS_THR_VALUE is 910. That's were the error is coming from. The controller is telling me to contact 3DR support which I am kinda dreading.

Can't speak to any of that MP stuff, but if you contact 3DR they will likely tell you to do a stick cal so you may as well put that behind you. Complete instructions for both iOS and Android are on this forum. You need to search - I ain't doin' it for ya'.

Thank you all. The PuTTY worked just fine. Low PWM on the throttle stick is now 1003 and not triggering a failsafe.

Glad you found & fixed your STICK calibration error. That isn't a RADIO calibration error like you mentioned in your first post LOL

Just to let you all know I reported my stick error to 3DR. They responded in less than 24 hours with a few ways to solve it. I find that encouraging based on reports of poor service I have been reading. Lets hope they keep it up.
