I've been the the Smithsonian, the Udvar-Hazy Center, Cape Kennedy, Airshows and many other Aviation Museums and Exhibits. I've been flying since I was 16 some 40 years ago. So yeah, I guess you could call me an Aviation Geek. I searched "aesthetics" on this forum and was surprised at the limited hits I got.
Technicalities aside for this post, whoever designed the 3DR Solo has some serious skills as this UAS just looks bad@$$. I decided to slip the 3DR Solo in between a Comanche and an F-35. I think it looks right at home there and way better than a DJI Phantom. Added Bonus: It's easy and fun to fly as well.
