augered it in this afternoon.

I have never tried getting in via the LED. I'm like you @Maddog I'd prefer to remove the motor pod so I know I'm getting it in the right place and it gives me a chance to check that the ESC looks normal, and I can give everything a good clean down.

I've been thinking about that and I'm concerned about repeatedly removing the mounting screws, putting thread locker back on, and reinstalling. Might cause the threaded bushing inside to break loose and turn freely. (Bad)

That happened with one screw but it was cross-threaded when installed at the factory.

Any comments about repeatedly R & R the motor pod?
