Another "noob" question?!

Yes I'm a noob, and I'm fine with that. Now that it's out of the way I'll ask my question. Has anyone done an autonomous mission similar to the one in this video? I DON'T want to and will not fly over moving cars or people, but I do want to send the Solo out on a long distance autonomous mission. Any advice is appreciated.

Everybody starts out as a noob- wear that badge with pride!
Many folks here have flown many autonomous missions.
Search the forums using "mission planner", "tower", "autonomous" etc.

How far you can go depends on several factors obviously.
Speed, altitude, wind, etc.

If your controller loses contact with Solo, of course Solo will begin to RTL. In a Tower and Solex there are are settings to override that and complete the mission even if you lose contact.
