3rd solo on Solex

No app is going to connect and no update is going to install given the state it is in based on the description. This is completely hosed on so many fronts. Flashing SD cards is not going to do it either.

You will need to hook up to the Pixhawk and manually load firmware with Mission Planner or QGC to revive it. Once you have it revived, it can be paired and will reconnect. Do the full update to 3dr 2.4.2 with the 3dr app. Once it is back to that and stable, you can try Open Solo again... Preferably by actually following the instructions.
P2P. I downloaded mission plsnner and am able to plug into my pixhawk but I am unsure of exactly which files to download. I was hoping could get me heading the right direction with which files and help keep me from screwing this up any more. (If that's possible!)

I'm not sure you mean "what files to download" as there really isn't anything to download directly. Some guidance can be found here (Loading Firmware onto the flight controller — Copter documentation). You do this with the Solo powered off, and just the pixhawk plugged in by USB. Just follow the prompts. If it asks you if this is linux board, the answer is no.

Since I don't know what state it is in, I suggest installing ArduPlane. That will wipe out the pixhawk completely of whatever was messed up on it before. Once that is loaded, unplug it from the USB and power the Solo up. Try pairing and connecting. Then run through the whole update process through the 3DR app.

P2P. Thanks for your help. I finally got a chance to plug it in to mission planner. It took a few trys to get the controller to bind but it worked! I greatly appreciated the help. I will just try to be patient when I install open solo. Back up to 3 running Solos though.
