Been reading all kinds of things about the emerging RC technologies and 1. It is totally amazing and 2. 3DR seems to be at the forefront of most of it. Never knew this stuff went so deep and so far. The "Open Platform" is clearly the way to the future and after delving into this stuff,,well, it is mind boggling! Autonomous flight, mission planning, detect and avoid, ground following flight,,on and on. Amazing. And it seems 3DR is always there. Check out a Google on Pixhawk, PX4, Mission Planning. Here's just a glimpse,,,and imagine.
