Could it be the hdmi on the gopro itself? I'm having your exact problem and it stems from heavy vibration. The only difference is I've changed gimbals, hdmi connection AND the solo itself.. Same problem.... All that's left is the go pro...

That's the one of the main features of the gimbal, it's to do exactly that. I'm not sure I understand the question you are asking? Are you asking if the controller controls the gimbal? Then the answer is, it controls the tilt of the camera. The leveling aspect of the gimbal is done automatically.

I see you were recording for 11 min in the video, but you said your battery was at 78 percent? Did you start recording prior to takeoff?
