the napkin drawing is correct. the jae receptacle is keyed and pin 1 is at the key. if solo is belly up with the gimbal facing forward, pin 1 is rear left (closest to motor #4).

The boards sell out all the time, but we get batches in about every 2 weeks. at the moment there are still a few left in the next batch, but i would place an order to ensure you get one. If they are sold out, it takes about 7-14 days turnaround time from the time you place your order.

3dr has not documented the communication protocol for the gimbal. so no one knows what actual mavlink is sent. theoretically though, you could run a dronekit script to control the gimbal as it has commands to move the gimbal. example: #Point the gimbal straight down (pitch, roll, yaw)...

if you still need this. i have a handful of motors. this specific pair, a person swapped the motors with a t-motor then swapped the original back. so the motors and escs are good, its just not soldered (motor wires). i'll let em go for $60 (including shipping) for the pair.
