Yet another reason to buy Solo

Don't get me wrong, DJI makes incredible drones but they been very open that they share all of their data with the Chinese government and the government is the largest client. Now they are requiring you to register your drone to take it out of beginner mode. Just a little scary. I am all for respecting aerospace for safety reasons. People should be educated and require to follow rules and laws in order to maintain peoples privacy and safety. But requiring me to register with a company known to share a consumers data openly with less than trustworthy governments, no thanks.


DJI will now handicap your drone until you register it with the company
