What Video editing apps does everyone use and like?

Hi. I'm new to the group. I'm enjoying the aerial photography very much but am having difficulty editing the video. I have been using GoPro studio. But it bogs down my computer. As well as other issues. When I first started using it I liked it very much but now it locks up and crashes all the time. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it many times but not much better. I even put it on another computer that is running Windows 10 but it runs in constant slow motion.

I would like to know what everyone else is using and what are the pros and cons. I appreciate any suggestions you have.
