Video Footage sometimes shows distortion

Anyone notice and when recording that sometimes video shows show distortion. Looks like some interference or something. Seems to happen randomly but then it goes away. See my video below this distortion can be seen 1:02-1:04.

not an expert, but I think there was another thread where it was determined it was prop shadow. I think I saw it twice on the video and it was when the lens was facing the sun. just a guess on my part

Yep, prop shadow. Nothing really you can do about that aside from some kind of shading and even then it's not completely eradicated.

Prop shadow had me scratching my head when I first saw it on my video. Worst when moving forwards toward the sun.

Prop shadow, I actually returned a Go Pro Hero 4 Black over that when I first got it! Hahaha!

There's an easy solution to the strobing effect caused by prop shadow: just put an ND filter on your GoPro. For best bang/buck ratio, I recommend this NEEWER filter set.
