Turkey Day Flight - 3DR Solo (OpenSolo v3.0.0) [GoPro Hero4 Black]

Giving the Solo a fly after Thanksgiving to test out the gimbal damper mod along with the 180deg shutter with the ND8 filter. Quite happy. My flying is not wonderful, however.

Currently, I've only done the earplug in the stock gimbal dampers. I don't have any sorbothane/moongel to stabilize the PCB of the gimbal as he shows, but I'm not seeing any vibrations in my footage so I'm not super motivated to buy a whole huge sheet to just use a few pieces. I'd rather cannibalize some of the sorbothane that comes with the Green Cube when I get one

I heard that Moongel has a habit of becoming less viscous with age and is more temperature sensitive than sorbothane. Any truth to that in your experience?
