Ya I am going to give FPV Racer a whirl, I have P4 and Mavic on its way (even though may cancel order). Not many racers use GPS, but that was a need for me. I'm not the best pilot and would like to have it programmed to have the capability to hover when throttle is released and other options installing GPS offers. Basically I wanted a hybrid between a DJI type and racer with speed.

Post it when you're done. I'd be interested in seeing it when it's done. a racer with hover ability would be nice as you learn.

Which flight software were you going to run? Last time I used cleanflight or base flight with GPS it wasn't anything like you might expect after using a pixhawk/APM where that flick into loiter stops it dead
