Soloing In Orlando

Hello, everyone!

I'm not sure how many guys get to say that their wives brought them here, but that's my case. My wife, Jae, bought me a little Cheerson CX-10C last Christmas that I messed around with occasionally, which led to me buying a Syma X8C this month and making my first full-size quad flights on December 9th. I'm a full-time musician by trade with a video production background and wanted to work my way up to a real flying camera platform after I finished learning manual control (never owned anything RC before this.)

Well, Jae surprised me yesterday with an early Christmas present and that's why I'm here. I'm really digging all the information and just wanted to say howdy instead of lurking in the shadows.

I'm flying the GoPro Hero 3+ Silver and, though I don't have full functionality through the controller, it's working fine enough for me to practice. Here's a video that I shot today in two of our local spots. Looking forward to learning more and getting better!
