Solo Performance Settings For Optimal Gimbal Stabilization

If I did, I don't recall. LT would be best for non-ProTune footage. The correct answer to that question boils down to a few questions;

-How much color push are you intending to do?
-What is the speed of your CPU/NLE compatibility?
-Will there be any compositing?
-Where will it be ultimately delivered?

If it's for the web, LT will be fine. LT will also be fine for *most* small delivery formats.
If it's for stock footage, I'd step to HQ, or if REALLY heavy color processing, go 444 (you gain nothing in color, but it holds together well)
If handing off to someone else for a pro edit, I'd almost always go HQ to be standardized and "safe."

Currently playing around with FCPX and its flogging my CPU, well the fans are cranking but hasn't dropped any frames but I'm only playing with one clip.

I also selected optimize media on import, but it doesn't look like it transcoded to ProRes still says H.264 in inspector. Anyway I will keep playing around, tomorrow I will get myself some discounted iTunes gift cards at 25% off and buy FCPX.

Thanks for your insight once again, if you lived here I'd buy you a beer :)
