My first attempt to solve the problem was to buy a log book for each. However, they all locked the same as the drones—- black. Soooo, I threw money at the problem and came up with the folllowing.

Thanks, too many years in a duck blind. Now I have dog fights with them.
:D I am sure the duck blind works like a champ to hide sunlight! I bought a cheap (no glare) sun shield off of Ebay awhile back that was
worse than running without it on the tablet, a few dollars wasted.

I didn’t think about the sun shield, since it came up. I also had a small one and threw it away. The one I put together poster board and, and duck tape. It is long, and does a great job, I put my forehead against it while holding the controller. If I need to ckeck around me it’s easy enough to lift my head slightly.
As you can see in the attached photos, the right side lifts up and out of the way to attach the pad. I added Velcro to the back insideshade a one small piece to the back of the pad to make it easy

CAn you show us your Solo’s wardrobe - lol actually are you printing your own or purchasing??

I had made one myself when I first bought my solo very easy to construct with black Elmers foam board hot glue and tape its not quite as long though, and they do work quite well.
I made one for an WLToys 686 using an old cardboard box, creased the corners and used velcro on the small monitor to attach to it.
I went ahead and painted mine black inside and out before attaching velcro strips to it. Interestingly, the lacquer paint stiffened the
cardboard up and it worked good. I need to make one for the Solo and Nexus 7.
