Solo flight

Has anyone tried flying while utilizing the GoPro App on another device to control the camera settings while in flight but still use another device to fly. Since the gopro Wifi will be not used while it is hard wired to the Solo. Hope this makes any sense!

You could still make the adjustments then let it disconnect after you start flying but it will run battery down faster! That i have noticed while using the gopro in arborist work

Do not use the Wifi on the GoPro ever... It'll reduce your range and you don't want something kicking out noise near the GPS either.
