Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

I wish there was an answer to this OP's post. I decided to upgrade/update my second solo, and it has bricked. Leaving both Controller and Solo on until batteries die did no good.Removed batts from both devices, Factory reset both...nada. No pairing going on over here. Just a controller that says it's been updated and needs to pair.
Tech support email wasn't all that helpful. For the moment, the prize for tech support goes to Yuneec.

Have you done the controller reset, I got myself stuck like this once but did solve it, though I couldn't tell you step by step how. I ended up going through the factory reset a few times after doing a controller reset.

Did the controller reset several times. Removed battery several times. Left it to pair for a couple hours. Factory reset four times.

Eventually, don't ask me how, I got them to pair.

I received very helpful advice from 3DR Support (Owen).
Here is summary.

1) Pair the device to controller
Pairing the Controller | 3DR - Drone & UAV Technology
Although this did not stop the beeping, I now have control over my Solo

2) Load Default parameters (To stop the beeping)

For Mission Planner:
- Connect to the SoloLink WiFi network
- Open Mission Planner
- Select UDP on the top right dropdown menu
- Click on Connect
- Go to Config/Tuning
- Full Parameter List
- Look and change SYSID_SW_MREV to 0
- Click on Write Parameters (on the right side)
- Disconnect and reboot Solo

All is Sweet. Tomorrow I'm airborne.
