So I just received my 2nd Solo and was wondering how to setup the communications. Is it as simple as changing the default IP from 10.1.1.10 to say 10.1.1.11...on 2nd controller and 2nd Solo? I mostly intend on the 2nd being a backup, but want it ready to fly.
Also, on my first Solo, I have updated to firmware 1.5.3, installed the latest Open Solo on controller & Solo, changed to the mRo with V2 shield (and cardboard mod). Wondering if I should proceed to do the same with the new Solo. I will definitely update to firmware 1.5.3, due to the MUCH increased landing stability I experienced in my first Solo.
As I'm typing all this out...it occurs to me that unless I have BOTH Solos operating at the same time, I could just leave 2nd Solo comms at default. BUT, if I mistakenly use controller #1 on Solo #2...are any parameters gonna get overwritten or anything along those lines?
