Samsung S4 vs Samsung S6

I was about to sell my old phone, but my new Samsung S6 with the v2.3 of the solo app, just endlessly says "Looking for Solo...", whereas my S4 connects in a heartbeat, applies the updates etc...this was the first phone the Solo connected to back in the day.

Is "looking for Solo" on the phone a phone to Solo issue and not a controller to Solo issue?

Depends- can the controller see Solo? Meaning, can you fly Solo without the phone? If so, I would think the phone is the problem.
