Retrieving Pics taken in flight

I have having a brain freeze..... I use an old Hero 3+ with my solo and an android phone. I can't remember how to view the pics I have taken in flight. I have the switch clicked to save on camera roll. Anyone help ?

The full resolution images should be on the GoPrp SD card. The Camera roll should save them to your Android gallery.

That's what I thought. It didn't on the last couple of flights. I have found them in past flights, but that was when I used an iPhone.
