PIXHAWK MINI Redundant POWER

I bought a Pixhawk mini from Ready Made RC.

After i got it. Ii started to build my project. and I noticed that the Redundant power input to the Servo Rail don't work.
If i supply power to the rail via BEC. 5.5 volts. the Flight Controller wont power on. If i supply power via the Power module it does power on.

I contacted Ready Made and they told me this is correct. The FC don't get power via the Servo Rail.

Can anyone please verify if this is correct. What is the point of redundant power if no power gets to the FC from the Rail.

As the supplier said ‘no aux power from the servo rail’ for the mini Pixhawks.
Pixracers I have are the same, as is the mini’s I have installed.
There are constraints on size v versatility.
