NTSC and PAL

hi all,
Has anyone heard when we are going to get PAL back it dissapeared in 2.0 and was only in NTSC and PAL was coming soon.
It's no big deal as most editing packages will handle both but the standards conversion back to Pal really takes the edge off the images.
Just an inquiry.

Well I can't see any reference to the PAL camera speeds like 25 fps etc, everything is in the NTSC rate.
One thing I hadn't thought of though is whether you have to have the Camera in PAL before connecting ? Which I will try.
